“Sport” newspaper reported that Robert Lewandowski, the Barcelona player, informed his agent Pini Zahavi of his rejection of the idea of moving to a Saudi club next summer.
The Spanish media had indicated that Lewandowski had received a fabulous offer of 3 times his current salary from a Saudi club without revealing his identity.
According to the source, the Polish international has decided to continue with Barcelona next season, and does not plan to leave, regardless of the temptations placed on his table.
At the same time, Barcelona’s management does not currently welcome Lewandowski’s departure, given that he will not bring much money to help the club sign a replacement striker of the same level.
In general, President Joan Laporta prefers to wait until the summer of 2025 until Barcelona’s economic situation improves, and then Lewandowski can be dispensed with and replaced with an outstanding striker like Erling Haaland.
