Robert Lewandowski was the hero of the second half of the Clasico after scoring two goals and missing two more in less than half an hour.
The first half of the Clasico ended in a goalless draw with Real Madrid having the upper hand, but things were very different in the second half.
Lewandowski started in the 53rd minute when he took advantage of a wonderful pass from Casado, who put him one-on-one with the goal and shot it into the net of Andriy Lunin.
3 minutes later, the Polish international dealt with a cross from Alejandro Balde exceptionally and headed it into the net, giving Barça the second goal.
Lewandowski could have killed the game and scored a hat-trick, but he failed to convert two clear chances into the net, the first of which he put into the left post and the other into the stands.
The 37-year-old Lewandowski raised his scoring record this season to 17 goals in all competitions.
