The famous player agent, Pini Zahavi, stressed that his client Robert Lewandowski will remain with Barcelona next season 100%.
It is assumed that Lewandowski’s contract will be automatically renewed for another year due to his participation rate this season with Barcelona, but it was said that the Polish player is the focus of Saudi Arabia and has many exciting offers on his table.
Zahavi responded to this news in press statements and said, “What is being said about offers from the Saudi League is not true. We have not received any offers from here, and there has been no communication from any club regarding Lewandowski.”
He also added, “I can confirm that the player is very happy at Barcelona, and he will continue with the team next season 100%. We have a contract with the club and we will respect it until the end.”
Zahavi’s confirmations come days after widespread reports about Barcelona’s intention not to sign a clear striker next summer and focus only on signing a winger due to their confidence that Lewandowski is capable of carrying the Catalan attack on his shoulders.
The 36-year-old has scored 34 goals and made 3 assists in 38 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions this season.
