Robert Lewandowski led Barcelona to a 2-1 victory over Athletic Bilbao in the second round of the Spanish League.
Barca took the lead in the first half through Lamine Yamal, before Bilbao equalized through Oihan Sancet from a penalty kick.
In the 75th minute, Lewandowski appeared again and saved Barcelona by scoring the second goal, securing three points for Xavi Hernandez’s team.
This is the Polish international’s third goal this season with Barcelona after scoring two goals in the first league match against Valencia.
At 36 years old, Lewandowski has become La Liga’s top scorer after just two rounds of the competition.
Barcelona raised their points tally to 6 at the top of the Spanish league table, tied with Celta Vigo, with the latter having a better goal difference.
