Napoli’s management has become open to the idea of selling Khvicha Kvaratskhelia during the current winter transfer market, amid interest from Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain to sign him.
The Georgian player’s contract with Napoli extends until the summer of 2027, however, he wants to leave the southern club this winter, and the club does not mind as long as it makes a lot of money behind him.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Paris Saint-Germain is currently leading the race to sign Kvaratskhelia.
The French club will give Kvaratskhelia 4 times his current salary in Napoli, which is very tempting for him to take this step, but the current crisis lies in Napoli’s management.
There is already communication between Paris Saint-Germain and Napoli, but the Italian club wants to get up to 80 million euros from selling the 23-year-old.
The Athletic reported that Liverpool have also entered the race to sign Kvaratskhelia, and are expected to begin negotiations with Napoli in a few days.
Liverpool will most likely sell Darwin Nunez this winter, after which they can finance the deal for Kvaratskhelia, especially since the player has been the focus of the English club for more than two years.
Napoli welcomes the interest of various clubs and believes that this will give them the opportunity to increase the player’s value, and the Italian management has already opened the auction for Kvaratskhelia and will not accept less than 70 million euros from his sale.
