Liverpool Completes First Signing of the Summer

Liverpool have reached an agreement with Valencia to sign goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, in the Reds’ first deal of the summer.

The English club will pay €35 million as a fixed fee to secure the Georgian international, with negotiations now underway to finalize the value of the variables.

According to Relevo, the agreement includes a one-season loan of Mamardashvili to Valencia, meaning he will effectively join Liverpool in the summer of 2025.

The signing of the impressive La Liga goalkeeper is to secure a successor for Alisson Becker in the future, given that the goalkeeper is 31 years old and is expected to leave at the latest after two years.

It should be noted that Mamardashvili received an offer from Bournemouth in recent days, but he preferred to move to Liverpool and wait a year with his current club Valencia.
