Manchester City star doubtful for Arsenal clash

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has raised doubts about Kevin De Bruyne’s fitness for Sunday’s match against Arsenal due to injury.

De Bruyne left the pitch between City’s halves in the Champions League against Inter, and according to Guardiola, he is suffering from muscle pain.

In the press conference before the Arsenal match, Guardiola was asked about the Belgian’s position in the Gunners match, to which he replied, “The player feels a little better today.”

He also added, “He has not fully recovered yet, but it is likely that he will participate against Arsenal.”

He concluded, “Now he is on vacation and tomorrow we will see the situation in training and then decide whether he will be in the match or not.”

De Bruyne has participated in all of City’s last four matches in the Premier League, scoring one goal and making another.

It remains to be noted that City are at full strength if De Bruyne succeeds in catching up with the Arsenal match, and the only injuries he suffers from are the injury of Oscar Bob.
