MEN reported that Manchester United management will hold talks with coach Erik Ten Hag in the coming days, and most likely they will decide to dismiss him.
United has only achieved two victories in the Premier League after 7 rounds, leaving the team in 14th place with only 7 points.
Demands continue to dismiss Ten Hag from his position in light of the decline in performance before the results, despite the Dutch coach’s insistence that the team is improving a lot with him.
According to the latest report, United management is not satisfied with the way things are going with Ten Hag, and it is most likely that his dismissal will happen sooner or later.
The Red Devils management is specifically targeting German coach Thomas Tuchel to replace Ten Hag.
The belief within United is that Tuchel can quickly adapt to the team and achieve immediate positive results and save the team from a season that seems to be disastrous if Ten Hag continues.
Since being sacked by Bayern Munich at the end of last season, Tuchel has not coached any other club, although he was linked with United in the summer before the English club decided to extend Ten Hag’s contract for two years and renew confidence in him.
Tuchel previously worked in the Premier League with Chelsea, where he led the Blues to win the Champions League title in the 2020-2021 season.
