Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported that Sadio Mane may leave the ranks of Al-Nassr in the current summer Mercato after failing to perform as expected of him last season.
According to the same report, the Senegalese international will not leave the Saudi League if he leaves Al-Nassr, and that he already has an offer on his table from one of the Rushen League clubs.
This club is Al-Qadisiyah, the latest entrant to the Saudi League, which wants to become a strong competitor in the competition and conclude major deals given that Aramco Petroleum Company owns the club.
One of the names that is favored by the Al-Qadisiyah administration and coach Mitchell is Mane, while Al-Nassr does not mind dispensing with the 32-year-old this summer.
The only crisis currently remains Mane’s huge salary, as Al-Qadisiyah is willing to pay only half of it, and so the player must agree to a significant reduction in his wages.
If Mane rejects the idea, Al-Qadisiyah will resort to a new idea, which is to agree with Al-Nassr to sign the player on loan, with “Fares Najd” covering half of the Senegalese’s salary.
It is assumed that the coming days will witness progress in Mane’s transfer to Al-Qadisiyah, especially since the promising club wants to finalize its deals before the start of the pre-season period for the new season.
It is noteworthy that Al-Qadisiyah has so far included Belgian goalkeeper Con Castells and Nahitan Nandez from Cagliari.
