Manchester City’s management is considering signing Omar Marmoush in the upcoming winter transfer window in the hope of saving the team from the miserable season it is experiencing.
Marmoush’s departure from Eintracht Frankfurt has become a matter of time only, and the only difference is whether he will leave in January or wait until the end of the current season.
According to the Daily Mail, Marmoush is on a list of 5 names that City is considering signing in January to support Pep Guardiola’s squad.
The value of the Egyptian international is initially estimated at 40 million pounds, but his departure, if it happens in January, could lead to an increase in this amount to 50 or 60 million.
In addition to Marmoush, City is considering bringing back Liam Delap from his loan to Ipswich Town, in addition to the option of signing Dani Olmo if he terminates his contract with Barcelona, and Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton.
City also intend to bolster their defence in light of the successive injuries, and are considering Juma Bah, currently on loan at Valladolid, and Jarrad Branthwaite from Everton.
