Omar Marmoush opened his scoring account with Manchester City, after scoring a hat-trick against Newcastle in the 25th round of the English Premier League.
The Egyptian international joined City in the last winter transfer period for 75 million euros from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Marmoush participated with City in 4 matches, 2 in the Premier League against Chelsea and Arsenal, one in the FA Cup against Leyton Orient and finally against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
In his fifth match, after 15 minutes, Marmoush was able to score for the first time in a City shirt against Newcastle in the match held at the Etihad Stadium.

Marmoush took advantage of a wonderful pass from goalkeeper Ederson, then outperformed the Newcastle defender and was alone in front of the visitors’ goal and put the ball in a more than wonderful way over goalkeeper Dubravka.
In the 24th minute, Marmoush continued to shine and scored the second goal for him and his team with a wonderful shot that deceived the goalkeeper and entered the Magpies’ net.

In the 33rd minute, Marmoush scored the third goal and his first historic hat-trick with City.

Marmoush’s hat-trick raised his scoring tally this season to 22 goals, with his total contributions reaching 37 in all competitions with Frankfurt and Manchester City.
