Marmoush is threatened with not participating in the Champions League with City!

English press reports indicated that Omar Marmoush may not participate with Manchester City in the Champions League.

The Egyptian international did not play the last match in the league stage against Club Brugge, but he can be registered starting from the round of 16 play-off when City meets Real Madrid.

During the winter transfer period, City made 4 deals, namely Marmoush, Victor Reyes, Abdul Qadir Khosanov and finally Nico Gonzalez, in addition to signing Claudio Echeverri early.

City has only 3 vacant seats in its European list, and thus Pep Guardiola must exclude two names from the new quintet.

So far, all indications say that Marmoush will be among the trio, along with Gonzalez, and the last card will remain confused until the philosopher makes his final decision.

However, given Guardiola’s history, it is difficult to say that Marmoush is safe, and he may ultimately prefer to register another player for technical reasons.

The identity of the European-restricted trio with City is expected to be revealed in the coming days and before the Real Madrid match scheduled for next Tuesday at the Etihad Stadium.
