Eintracht Frankfurt star Omar Marmoush stressed that without the teamwork of his team, he would not have been able to score two goals against Bayern Munich on Sunday.
The Egyptian international led Frankfurt with his two goals and an assist to an exciting 3-3 draw with Bayern in the sixth round of the Bundesliga.
After the match, Marmoush spoke to Frankfurt’s official website and said, “We are happy with this point, and without the work of the team as a whole, I would not have scored these goals. We are a family.”
He also added, “We kept our calm throughout the match, we defended as a team and were calm in front of goal when we had the few chances.”
He concluded, “We gave a great performance against Bayern Munich, both in defense and attack.”
Marmoush raised his goal tally in the Bundesliga to 8 goals, moving him 3 goals away from closest competitor Harry Kane.
In general, Bayern is the club that Marmoush has contributed the most goals against, having scored 3 and assisted 4 others in 8 matches against the Bavarians.
