Egyptian star Omar Marmoush made the difference immediately after coming on as a substitute for Erling Haaland in the 61st minute of Manchester City’s FA Cup match against Bournemouth.
Before the “Egyptian Prince” came on, the score was tied 1-1 at the Vitality Stadium in the quarter-final match.
Marmoush needed just two minutes to make his mark, scoring City’s second goal in the 63rd minute with a stunning low shot from inside the penalty area.
This was the 25-year-old’s first goal for City in the FA Cup and his fifth overall, following four in the Premier League.

Marmoush’s goal took him to 35 goals this season with City and previously with Eintracht Frankfurt, bringing his total goal contributions to 40 in all competitions.
Marmoush’s goal was crucial for City, sending them into the FA Cup semi-finals, Pep Guardiola’s side’s last chance to win a trophy this season.
It’s worth noting that City were drawn into a heated semi-final clash with the Premier League’s dark horse, Nottingham Forest, which is scheduled to take place at Wembley Stadium, as usual.
