Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe denied the circulating news that he is under investigation by the Swedish authorities for a rape crime.
Mbappe appeared in Sweden and was captured by cameras in a nightclub during the current international break after not joining the French national team and getting a rest by decision of Real.
The Swedish newspaper “Aftonbladet” reported that the police were informed of an alleged rape without mentioning the name of the accused, while the newspaper “Expressen” came out and said that Mbappe is the suspect.
Radio Monte Carlo reported the news via its account on the X platform, for Mbappe to come out and deny it, and even indirectly accuse Paris Saint-Germain of being behind these baseless rumors.
Mbappe said, “Fake news, it has become very expected, on the eve of the hearing, as if by chance.”
Mbappe means that the spread of this news at this time is not by chance, but by the action of an agent (Paris Saint-Germain) before a hearing in his case against the French club regarding his late dues.
The 25-year-old wants to receive 55 million euros from Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s management, which is the value of his late salaries for the last 3 months, and the loyalty bonus that he was supposed to receive last February.
