Mbappe admits: I failed badly in the Euro… and makes a promise to Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappé admitted that his participation with the France national team in Euro 2024 was a complete failure, but at the same time he promised to come back stronger than in the past.

France bid farewell to the Euro after losing 2-1 to Spain in the semi-finals, and over the course of 4 matches, Mbappe only succeeded in scoring one goal from a penalty kick against Poland.

The Real Madrid star spoke after leaving the Euro, saying, “My participation in the Euro was a failure.”

He also added, “Football is easy. You are either good or bad. I was not good, so now we are going home.”

He continued, “Now I will go on vacation. I will rest a little and get over what happened. Then I will be ready to start a new life. There are many things to do in the future.”

He concluded, “The opportunity I missed at the end should not be wasted by a player with my quality. I had to score it. Spain was better than us, but we did not play well.”
