Mbappé or Vinicius? Ancelotti Decides on Real Madrid’s Penalty Taker

Marca has reported that Carlo Ancelotti has made a decision on who will take penalties and free kicks for Real Madrid next season.

With the arrival of Kylian Mbappé, the royal club is now brimming with stars, and the Italian wants to avoid any crises and have everything defined from the start of the season.

Ancelotti has made a surprising decision to take free-kick duties away from Vinicius Junior and assign them to Mbappé, even though the Frenchman has never shown this as one of his strengths.

At the same time, Vinicius will continue as the first penalty taker, contrary to expectations that Mbappé would take on this role.

Mbappé’s first official match for Real Madrid will be against Atalanta in the European Super Cup on August 14.

It is worth noting that the relationship between Vinicius and Mbappé is good, with the Frenchman saying that the Brazilian spoke to him several times to encourage him to join Real Madrid.
