Kylian Mbappe angered Paris Saint-Germain fans on social media after a video published by Real Madrid’s official account.
This video showed clips of Real Madrid stars in 2024 at the end of the year, and Jude Bellingham and Fede Valverde appeared next to Mbappe, who spoke in Spanish.
When the clip came to Mbappe reviewing 2024, he said, “I don’t like this year because I was at Paris Saint-Germain.”
The French star suffered from arbitrary decisions from the PSG management towards him in the first 6 months after he refused to renew his contract and decided to move for free to Real Madrid in the summer.
Despite this, Paris fans see what Mbappe said as part of his attempt to provoke the French club, and as an omission of everything the club has provided to him and the fans over many years in the Parc des Princes.
Mbappé also spoke in the video about the European Super Cup, which saw his first appearance with Real Madrid when he faced Atalanta and scored a goal, and considered that this was a completely perfect start for him there.
In general, 2024 was not the best year in Mbappé’s career, after he was heavily criticized by the French fans for his level in Euro 2024 as well, and he also struggled to reach a good level with Real, specifically only in December.
