Kylian Mbappé has asserted that his team Real Madrid’s 1-1 draw with Mallorca in their opening La Liga match for the club is a disappointing result.
The French international played the full match, his second for Real after the Atalanta match in the European Super Cup.
Real Madrid took the lead through Rodrygo, but Mallorca managed to equalize and snatch a point from the mouth of the La Liga champion, despite Mbappé’s efforts and wasted chances throughout the 90 minutes.
The French star wrote on his Instagram account, “A draw is not a good result.”
He added, “Our heads are up and we are already focused on the next game. Hala Madrid.”
Mbappé’s first match for Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu will be next Sunday when Carlo Ancelotti’s team will host Valladolid in the second round of La Liga.
