Just six minutes later, Mbappé appeared again, this time with pure individual skill to give Real Madrid the lead.
The French international received the ball, set it up inside the penalty area, and then unleashed a sublime shot that found the back of the net, giving Real Madrid the lead.

Mbappé’s brace brought his total goal contributions this season to 34, having scored 30 goals and provided four assists in all competitions.
