Kylian Mbappé needed only 68 minutes to score his first goal for Real Madrid, after coming on as a substitute in the 2024 UEFA Super Cup match against Atalanta.
Federico Valverde had given Real Madrid the lead in the 59th minute, and then it was Mbappé’s turn to crush the Italian club’s hopes of a comeback.
Jude Bellingham played a pass into the box to Mbappé, who unleashed an unstoppable shot that nestled into the Atalanta net to make it 2-0 for Los Blancos.
A particularly interesting moment after the goal was when Vinicius Junior celebrated with Mbappé in the same way the Frenchman is known for, highlighting the strong bond between the two.
