Mbappe’s injury diagnosis revealed and will he make it to the Intercontinental Cup

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois revealed Kylian Mbappe’s condition after he left the Atalanta match injured in the first half.

Mbappe, who scored Real’s first goal, fell without intervention at the Gueve Stadium and asked to be substituted, and left in the 36th minute and was replaced by Rodrigo.

The first reports from the Spanish media indicated that he suffered a muscle injury, then Courtois left after the match and revealed the matter.

According to the Belgian goalkeeper, his colleague is suffering from muscle cramps, and because of them he asked to be substituted and leave the field early instead of aggravating the injury and turning it into a tear.

Courtois also confirmed that the injury does not seem serious, and Mbappe is not expected to miss Real Madrid except in the next match.

Real Madrid will play against Rayo Vallecano on Saturday in La Liga, before heading to Qatar to play the 2024 Intercontinental Cup final on December 18.

If Courtois’ predictions are correct, Mbappe will be present at the Lusail Stadium match normally, unless he finds something new.
