The American newspaper “Marca” presented a golden statue to the 37-year-old at a ceremony held on Thursday in Miami.

Messi received the statue and then gave a speech in which he said, “I thank God after achieving all my dreams, and I was able to achieve the biggest dream of winning the World Cup, and before that I won many titles with Barcelona, ​​Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Miami.”

He added, “At the moment, I only focus on the day, and I try to enjoy everything that happens to me at every moment and we will see what will happen in the future.”

“The end is near and I am enjoying every moment possible. Argentina and Barcelona are my home and now I feel good in a new phase of my life in Miami,” he concluded.

Messi will have the chance to win another title this season when he plays in the MLS play-off with Inter Miami next month.
