Vinicius Junior continues his achievements with Real Madrid, the latest of which came thanks to his goal against Borussia Dortmund in the 2024 Champions League final.
Vinicius became the first Brazilian in history to score in two different Champions League finals, after his first goal in Liverpool 2022, then his goal in Dortmund 2024.
The 23-year-old did not stop there, but rather broke a legendary record recorded by Lionel Messi.
At 23 years and 325 days old, Vinicius became the youngest player in history to score in two Champions League finals.
The previous record was registered in Messi’s name after he scored in the 2009 and then 2011 finals, when he was 23 years and 338 days old.
Vinicius is the player who has contributed the most goals in the knockout stages of the Champions League before he turned 24, with 22 goals (11 goals and 11 assists), a number he now shares with Messi.
