Lionel Messi’s anger was evident after his team, Inter Miami, lost to Vancouver 2-0 in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions League semi-final.
The Flea participated in the match from the start, and on more than one occasion, his temper was evident as he argued with opposing players, and it appeared that Vancouver fans provoked him with their chants.
Messi was seen leaving the field after the final whistle, while being subjected to a barrage of insults from Vancouver fans, who were gloating over him and his team.
Messi looked at the fans, then gestured, and said, “See you in the second leg.”

Inter Miami is scheduled to meet Vancouver again next Thursday in the second leg at Lockhart Stadium, and Messi vows to respond and advance to the final.
Messi has participated in six CONCACAF Champions League matches this season, scoring five goals and assisting another. He dreams of leading Inter Miami to its first ever continental title.
