Mundo Deportivo revealed that former Barcelona star and current Inter Miami player, Luis Suarez, has provided great services to Barça in recent months.
Although the way Suarez left Barcelona was not good, the player still maintains a good relationship with Joan Laporta’s management in particular.
Laporta came out a few days ago and praised Suarez a lot, which made many wonder why the Catalan president did that.
Mundo Deportivo reported that Suarez is the main reason for Ronald Araujo’s continued presence in Barcelona until now.
Suarez’s relationship with Araujo is good, and the latter consults him on everything, and when he informed him that Bayern Munich’s offer was acceptable, the Barça legend moved and informed the management of the Bavarian’s interest and the central defender’s position on him.
Because of Suarez’s warning, Barcelona’s management moved quickly and began negotiating with Araujo about renewing his contract, and also presented him with a project that confirms that the Catalans will be one of the strongest contenders for titles in a few years.
Suarez’s role did not stop there, but also extended beyond that when the full offer did not reach Araujo, so he informed Barcelona’s management, who in turn immediately contacted the central defender and explained all the details to him.
