Milan suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat to hosts Parma in their second Serie A match of the season.
Newly promoted Parma took the lead in the second minute through Dennis Man, before Milan equalized through Christian Pulisic in the 66th minute.
However, the Rossoneri were unable to hold on, as Parma scored their second goal through Matteo Cancellieri in the 77th minute.
Milan’s negative results continue at the start of the season, as the team under new manager Paulo Fonseca has yet to achieve a victory.
In the first round, Milan drew 2-2 with Torino at the San Siro, and coach Fonseca faced heavy criticism for his tactics and selections.
Now, this criticism will intensify after the loss to Parma, considering the difference in levels and the fact that the Italian club’s management has provided Fonseca with everything he wanted during the transfer window, including the signing of Fofana.
