Luka Modric scored a legendary goal during his participation with Real Madrid in the Girona match in the 25th round of the Spanish League.
A corner kick rebounded to Modric on the edge of the penalty area, and he received the ball on his chest and prepared it for himself, then fired an unstoppable shell that entered the net of the guests of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
This goal is the furthest in Modric’s long career in the Spanish League, as his shot was 29.4 meters from Girona’s goal.
At the same time, Modric is the third oldest non-Spanish player to score in the first division after Donato (40 years and 138 days) and Di Stefano (39 years and 231 days).
The Croatian’s goal in Girona came at the age of 39 years and 167 days.
