Former Premier League star Craig Burley considered that Mohamed Salah is “blackmailing” Liverpool management in a big way in the file of renewing his contract to move to another club for money, or to earn as much as possible inside Anfield Stadium.
The Egyptian star has made more than one statement in the past months saying that he will leave the Reds due to the lack of serious negotiations with him from the club and despite his remarkable brilliance this season.
Burley commented in statements to the Mirror newspaper, regarding Salah’s situation, saying, “Liverpool officials are on the verge of tears from what Salah is doing, he has put incredible pressure on them, he is clearly deceiving them.”
He also added, “I do not understand why he comes out after every big match and talks about his future in the media, he should focus on Liverpool only and stop these statements.”
He continued, “This constant talk from him about his future confirms that he is trying to deceive Liverpool management, he has made his decision and wants to leave.”
“What Salah is doing is unjustifiable. He will leave for another club for money, but he wants to show the fans that he was forced to leave Liverpool. He has put the club’s management in a real financial predicament,” he concluded.
