French newspaper L’Équipe has reported that Stuttgart are interested in signing Nantes striker Mustafa Mohamed during the current summer transfer window.
Stuttgart are looking for another striker after signing Demirović to replace their top scorer Sërhou Guirassy, as they failed to buy Deniz Undav from Brighton.
The southern German club has three options for this purpose: Atalanta’s Belal Toure, Rennes’ Arnaud Kalimuendo, and finally, the Egyptian star Mustafa Mohamed.
Priority is still given to the other two, but in recent hours, Stuttgart has inquired about the situation of the former Zamalek player, and things may develop in the coming hours.
Perhaps what strengthens the 26-year-old’s chances of joining Stuttgart is the value of the deal, which will be more affordable than Kalimuendo, valued at 30 million euros, or Toure.
