Naples declares war on Kvaratskhelia: We own your fate!

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s agent, Mamuka Gogeli, announced that his client wants to leave Napoli during the current summer Mercato and that he no longer feels comfortable within the Italian club.

“Yes, we want to leave Naples, but we are waiting until the end of Euro 2024,” Gogeli said in media statements.

He continued, “We are confident that Napoli will compete at all levels with coach Conte, but this does not change our desire to leave.”

He justified the player’s desire to leave by saying, “He played with 4 different coaches in one year. This worries me a lot. He is the one who will decide his fate, but I do not feel comfortable with his current position.”

In turn, the Napoli club responded very strictly to Kvara’s agent’s statement, issuing an official statement in which he confirmed that the player’s fate is in the hands of the club and not in the hands of his agent.

Napoli said, “We want to remind the player that his contract is still valid with us until the summer of 2027, and we confirm that he is not for sale.”

The statement concluded, “Players’ agents do not determine the fate of the players. Only Napoli will determine the fate of Kvaratskhelia, given the fact that his contract is valid here.”

It is noteworthy that Kvartskhelia is currently participating with the Georgian national team in Euro 2024, where he participates in a group that includes Portugal, the Czech Republic and Turkey.
