Fenerbahce coach, Jose Mourinho, made fiery statements towards Pep Guardiola after the latter mentioned him in his statements following the Liverpool match.
Guardiola said that he hopes his fate will not be like Mourinho’s in response to a question about whether the reference to 6 Premier League titles is similar to what the Portuguese did with Manchester United.
The Spaniard then said that he may be similar to Mourinho, but he won 6 Premier League titles, while the Special One won only 3 titles.
It seems that these titles have greatly angered Mourinho, who responded in a press conference with Fenerbahce about them by saying, “I heard that Guardiola talked about me in the past days.”
He also added, “Yes, he won 6 titles in England and I won 3, but I won fair and square.”
“I don’t want to win titles while I’m accused of 150 cases,” he said, referring to the cases against Manchester City over Financial Fair Play rules.
It is worth noting that Mourinho has said on more than one occasion that he still aspires to have the 2017-2018 Premier League title counted for him if Manchester City is stripped of it.
