New confirmation.. Barcelona competes strongly with Liverpool for Marmoush

Barcelona’s management has decided that Omar Marmoush is the best option to support the Catalan club’s attack next summer, according to Sport newspaper.

The Egyptian international has been shining brightly with his current club Eintracht Frankfurt this season, scoring 15 goals and making 11 others in 18 matches in all competitions so far.

Marmoush’s contract with the “Eagles” extends until the summer of 2027, but the German club is ready to sell him for a value ranging from 50 to 60 million euros.

It was recently said that Liverpool is the most eager to sign Marmoush, and now Sport confirms that Joan Laporta’s management will focus its efforts on signing the Egyptian star as well next summer.

Laporta wants to make a sensational deal next summer with Barcelona’s elections approaching in 2026, and he believes that signing Marmoush will achieve this goal.

Barcelona certainly wants to strengthen its attacking line, and its first choice is now Marmoush, for sporting reasons related to his ability to play in all attacking positions, and for economic reasons related to the value of the deal.

If Barcelona wanted to sign the 24-year-old, it would not need more than 60 million euros, unlike if it moved towards Erling Haaland or Victor Gyukers, which makes the Egyptian an ideal choice that fits the economic situation at Camp Nou.

It is noteworthy that Barcelona sent its scouts to follow Marmoush more than once this season, the last of which was in the match against Midtjylland last Thursday in the European League, when the former Wolfsburg player scored a goal and made another.

Marmoush’s position on moving to Barcelona remains unknown, as he previously said that he dreams of joining the English Premier League and following in Salah’s footsteps.
