New confirmation of Al Hilal’s moves to conclude a legendary deal this summer

Italian journalist Marco Conterio confirmed that Al Hilal Club will submit an official offer to Milan management to sign Rafael Leao in the current summer Mercato.

The Portuguese star’s contract with the Rossoneri still extends until the summer of 2028, and despite this, he is the focus of attention and attention of many European clubs, most notably Paris Saint-Germain.

According to Conterio, the rumor that Al Hilal has already submitted its offer to Milan is baseless, while the Saudi club is currently preparing its offer to be presented during the next few weeks.

In his report, the Italian drew attention to the fact that Milan is not facing pressure to sell Leao, and that the sale will only take place through one means, which is activating the penalty clause worth 175 million euros.

It remains unknown whether Al Hilal is willing to pay this amount, which will make Leao the second most expensive player in the history of football, or whether it will initially try with Milan to reduce the value as much as possible.

As for the player, he has not made his decision regarding the Saudi offer despite knowing of its existence, and prefers to wait until after Euro 2024, at which time he will inform Al Hilal officials of his approval or not.
