Barcelona’s management is working to reach a quick economic solution that will enable them to register Dani Olmo and not lose him for free in the coming days.
The Barcelona court had rejected the lawsuit filed by the Blaugrana against the La Liga Association, and confirmed the validity of the association’s position in not balancing the Catalan club’s economic rules.
Barcelona has until December 31 to register Olmo, otherwise he will not be able to participate again this season with Barça, and accordingly he will leave for free to any club according to the contract signed between the two parties.
According to the newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, Barcelona is in the process of selling part of the distinguished seats at Camp Nou and has already concluded an agreement with a Dubai-based company on this.
Barcelona needs 100 million euros to be able to register Olmo, and despite the recent deal, the club has not yet achieved its goal.
President Joan Laporta is currently in Dubai in order to reach the value of sales of 100 million euros, at which point the club can return to the 1:1 rule and register Olmo and even Pau Victor without any crises.
Barcelona’s management has put in place an alternative plan in case it fails to achieve sales of the premium seats for 100 million euros, which is to obtain the remaining money with a guarantee from the board of directors, which will not be an easy step either.
It remains to be noted that Olmo’s agent was seen in Manchester in the past hours, in what the British media considered a prelude to finding a new club for his client if Barcelona fails in all its economic efforts.
