Neymar has agreed to return to his mother club Santos, after reaching an agreement with the Brazilian club’s officials on all the details in the past hours.
Neymar is suffering greatly with Al-Hilal after coach Jorge Jesus’ decision to exclude him from the local list, so he decided not to wait until the end of his contract at the end of the season, and decided to leave immediately.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 31-year-old has finally agreed with Santos on all the details about his return to Brazil for the first time in 12 years.
The only obstacle currently is Al-Hilal, and it is assumed that there will be talks in the coming days between Santos and the Saudi club to find the appropriate formula to complete this deal.
Al-Hilal hopes to make some money from selling Neymar, and it also requires the player to waive his dues amounting to 65 million euros.
Santos is said to be trying to convince Al Hilal to loan him until the end of the current season, with the Brazilian returning to play in the 2025 Club World Cup with the “Blue Wave”.
For his part, Neymar is ready to give up a large part of his dues, but this will most likely not be enough in light of Al Hilal’s desire to give up all of his remaining money.
It is worth noting that the Brazilian moved to Al Hilal in the summer of 2023 for 90 million euros from Paris Saint-Germain, but he only played 7 matches in the blue shirt due to injuries.
