Neymar informs Al Hilal of his return date and causes a crisis for his colleague!

Al-Riyadiah newspaper revealed that Neymar da Silva informed Al-Hilal officials of the specific date for his return to participate in group training with his team after nearly a year of absence due to injury.

The Brazilian star has been away from the field since last October after suffering a tear in the cruciate ligament in his knee with his country in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

There is a lot of talk about when the player will return, the latest of which was that he would not be able to join training before October, and he would not play matches before the start of the new year.

But according to Al-Riyadiah, Neymar told Al-Hilal officials that he will be able to participate in the training of the Jorge Jesus Battalion in mid-August.

Thus, the specific date for the 31-year-old to return to playing matches will be mid-October at the latest, after ensuring that he has fully recovered from his injury.

If Neymar’s return is confirmed, the most affected will be Michael Delgado,  as the Paris Saint-Germain star will be included in Al Hilal’s list at the beginning of the season, not in January, and with it, the Blue Wave will have to exclude another foreign player.

In this case, the Saudi club will sacrifice Delgado and begin listening to offers to allow him to leave this summer instead of leaving for free at the end of his contract in the summer of 2025.

It remains to be noted that Neymar played only 5 matches with Al Hilal shirt before he suffered an injury, and his contract extends for one season with rumors that he will leave next summer and return to play in Brazil.
