Neymar revealed that the main reason for leaving Al Hilal was that he started to “feel unhappy” and then decided to leave and return to Santos.
Al Hilal coach Jorge Jesus had decided to exclude Neymar from Al Hilal’s local list despite his recovery from injury, and from here the disputes between the player and the club began.
The Brazilian international said after joining Santos, “I have to admit that at the beginning of January I did not imagine that I would return to Santos, I was happy with my family at Al Hilal.”
He added, “The things that happened after that forced me to make a decision, for the first time I felt unhappy and it was not good for me and my mental state.”
He concluded, “I did not think twice when the opportunity came to return to Santos, I think everyone is happy and satisfied, I and my family and friends are very happy.”
Over the course of his career with Al Hilal, which lasted for a year and a half, Neymar only played 7 matches due to injury, although his cost exceeded 200 million euros including salaries.
