Not Alonso… Real Madrid Considering a Major Option to Replace Ancelotti!

Defensa Central revealed that Xabi Alonso is not the only option available to Real Madrid’s management to succeed Carlo Ancelotti as coach of the club next season.

The 3-0 Champions League defeat to Arsenal put Ancelotti’s future in doubt, with speculation he will leave at the end of this season.

Alonso was always the preferred choice to succeed Ancelotti after his remarkable success at Bayer Leverkusen, but a network close to Real Madrid reveals that another name is highly favored by Los Blancos’ management.

The subject here is former Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp, who currently serves as chairman of the Red Bull Group on a long-term contract.

It is certainly unknown what Klopp’s position on coaching Real Madrid will be, especially since his time at Red Bull has not yet completed four months, and he has previously expressed his “boredom” with the coaching profession and may have already retired.

It’s worth noting that there’s a release clause in Klopp’s contract with Red Bull that allows him to leave only to coach the German national team, given that Julian Nagelsmann’s contract with the German national team still runs until the next Euro in 2028.

Zinedine Zidane’s option is highly unlikely, as the disagreements that arose between him and Florentino Pérez during his second term make bringing him back out of the question. The coach himself is also eager to try out for the French national team after the upcoming World Cup.
