Not for Theft or Football: Attack on Messi’s Home in Spain!

Lionel Messi’s home in Ibiza, Spain, has been vandalized, but not for theft or by a football fan.

According to media reports, the “Green Future” group, concerned with environmental issues, is behind the attack on Messi’s home, and the attack was non-violent.

Activists from this group smeared the facade of Messi’s home in Ibiza with red and black paint in protest against the Argentine player’s actions that contribute to pollution.

Messi has used his private jet frequently in recent years, increasing carbon emissions and subjecting the player to a lot of criticism in this regard.

In 2022, Messi was accused of causing the emission of 1502 tons of carbon dioxide in just 3 months due to his plane making 52 trips from June 1 to August 31, 30 of which were intercontinental, and 14 were across the Atlantic.

The Green Future group took its first step in fighting the flea by smearing the facade of his house and writing slogans denouncing the rich, the police, and others.
