Not Salah.. An Arab star on Barcelona’s radar

The newspaper “Sport” revealed that Barcelona is monitoring an Arab star and will try to sign him during the next summer transfer period.

The Catalan club has already been linked with signing Mohamed Salah, although the deal is currently unlikely due to the Egyptian star’s very high salary.

According to the Catalan newspaper, Barcelona is monitoring the young Moroccan player Adam Aznou, who is on loan from Bayern Munich to Valladolid.

Aznou, 18, is a Barcelona player, but he left the club in a bad way in 2022, heading to Bayern Munich.

Joan Laporta’s management wants to sign a new left-back to compete with Alejandro Balde, and believes that the promising Moroccan star has all the potential to do so.

The dilemma remains that Aznou’s contract with Bayern Munich still extends until 2027, and the Bavarian club decided to loan him to Valladolid this winter to work on developing him and then return him to the Allianz Arena.

But Barcelona’s chances in the deal are great, as Aznou realizes that his chances of playing with Bayern have become much less after renewing Alphonso Davies’ contract.
