Famous journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed the closest destination at the moment for Raphael Varane after the end of his contract with Manchester United.
The French international has the right to join any club for free, and his name has been linked to more than one club in the Saudi League, and it has also been said that Inter Miami of the United States has entered into negotiations with him.
But according to Romano, the former Real Madrid star is negotiating with the Como team, newly promoted to the Italian League, in order to join its ranks next season.
Varane traveled to Italy in response to the Cuomo administration’s request to negotiate the possibility of him joining the team, especially since the club considers him the “dream option” to support the centre-back.
Perhaps the presence of Barcelona legend Cesc Fabregas as Como’s coach is the most prominent reason for the possibility of Varane moving there, given that the Spaniard has great ambitions and appears to be one of the best young coaches in the world.
