Darwin Nunez scored a wonderful goal for his team Liverpool against Bournemouth at Anfield in the fifth round of the English Premier League.
The Bournemouth match is the first match in which Nunez participated as a starter since Arne Slot took over as coach of the Reds.
The Uruguayan international has been suffering from attacks and criticism since last season, and there were doubts about his continuation due to what was said about the tension in the relationship between him and Slot.
In the end, Nunez succeeded in responding to everyone with a goal that can only be described as wonderful, after he shot the ball with his left foot from the edge of the penalty area into the net of goalkeeper Kepa.
It is worth noting that Nunez’s goal was Liverpool’s third in the match, and it is also his first overall this season after 4 matches as a substitute in the Premier League and another in the Champions League.
