Barcelona announced the departure of its young player Alex Valle to Scottish Celtic on loan.
Valle performed very well during the pre-season with coach Hansi Flick, and it was expected that he would continue with the Blaugrana.
But in the end, Flick preferred that the 20-year-old leave to participate continuously in another club instead of continuing on the bench at Camp Nou.
According to Barcelona’s statement, Valle will go to Celtic on loan for one season, and the contract does not include a purchase option.
This is not the first loan from Barca for Valle, as the player was previously loaned to Andorra and Levante.
It is worth noting that Valle is the 13th player to leave Barcelona this summer after Mika Fai, Julian Araujo, Shadi Riyad, Marc Jurado, Sergino Dest, Ilkay Gundogan, Vitor Roque, Sergi Roberto, Clement Lenglet and Oruel Romeu.
