Barcelona’s postponed La Liga match against Osasuna has been rescheduled for March 27 after appeals against the new date were rejected.
Both clubs were unhappy with the date, as it coincided with the current international break, but it appears they will have to play the match anyway.
Mundo Deportivo and Cope reported that the Spanish Football Federation’s Second Appeals Committee rejected the appeals and insisted on holding the match on March 27.
This news means Barcelona will likely miss Rafinha and Ronald Araujo due to international commitments with Brazil and Uruguay.
Fermin López, Gerard Martín, Pablo Torre, and Héctor Fort are also doubtful, as they have just returned from their assignment with the Spain Under-21 team.
Osasuna was scheduled to play Athletic Bilbao on March 28, but that match has been postponed to March 30.
Barcelona coach Hansi Flick is said to be really angry about the new date of the match, while Pedri has already spoken about the decision and admitted he doesn’t understand the schedule.
