Official: Real Madrid signs its second summer signing

Real Madrid has presented to its fans the newest face, Endrick, after officially joining the royal club from Palmeiras.

Real Madrid finalized the deal in December 2022, but left the player at Palmeiras for a year and a half until he turned 18 and could sign professional contracts according to Spanish law.

With his 18th birthday just passed, Endrick finally joins Real Madrid officially, and the Merengues held a grand ceremony to introduce him to the fans at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

Endrick spoke about joining Real, saying, “There are no words to describe how I feel, I’ve always dreamed of playing here and now I’m living my dream.”

He added, “I’ve not only achieved my own dream, but my family’s dream as well. I’m very happy to be playing for Real Madrid.”

The Brazilian player will wear the number 16 shirt for Real Madrid, and has decided to cut his summer vacation and join Carlo Ancelotti’s squad early and will travel with the team to the United States tour.

It should be noted that Endrick is Real’s second signing this summer after the free signing of Kylian Mbappe, but the difference is that the Spanish club paid 41.5 million euros to sign the Brazilian from Palmeiras.
