The European tenth place in the 2025 Club World Cup was decided thanks to Barcelona’s 3-1 victory over its guest Napoli in the second leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League.
FIFA announced through its official accounts on social media platforms that with Napoli’s exit, Juventus is guaranteed to participate in the Club World Cup scheduled to be held in the United States.
Borussia Dortmund was the ninth qualifier thanks to Real Madrid’s victory over Leipzig last week, and now thanks to Napoel’s exit, Juventus is guaranteed to participate alongside the German club due to its European classification.
Juventus joined the list that includes Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea, Inter, Paris Saint-Germain, Benfica, Porto and Juventus as representatives of the European continent.
As for Barcelona, the Catalan club is still far from participating in the Club World Cup, and needs to achieve this version of the Champions League to be present in America in the summer of 2025.
