La Liga confirmed in a new step that Dani Olmo will not be registered in Barcelona’s ranks for the remainder of the current season.
The association had issued an official statement on Tuesday announcing that Barcelona did not meet the necessary conditions to register Olmo and Pau Victo, so the duo are out of Barça.
Barcelona resorted to the Spanish Football Federation to try to obtain a license to register the player, and it was said that there are a maximum of 3 days for Joan Laporta’s administration to resolve the crisis.
On Wednesday morning, La Liga took a new step against Barcelona, after it removed the name and photo of Olmo and Pau Victor from the team’s list for the second half of the season.
The association restored Andreas Christensen’s name after he was out of the Blaugrana list in the first half of the season due to injury, and Olmo was then registered in his place.
In the same context, the newspaper “AS” revealed that the Spanish Federation responded to Barcelona by approving the decision of the La Liga Association that the Blaugrana are not entitled to register Olmo.
Spanish media indicate that Barcelona is now counting on completing the deal to sell the distinguished seats at Camp Nou before Friday, January 3, and with it the process of registering Olmo will succeed.
