Manchester City won the 2024 English Premier League title after defeating West Ham United in the last round, with a score of 3-1.
The competition this season was intense between City and Arsenal, but in the end, by defeating West Ham, Pep Guardiola’s squad maintained a two-point difference over the Gunners and won the title.
Perhaps this title can be described as “historic” by all standards, as for the first time in history a team has succeeded in winning the English Premier League 4 times in a row.
Overall, this is the tenth English Premier League title in City’s history, the eighth in the Premier League era, and the sixth title in the last 7 years.
Guardiola maintains his position as the second most successful coach in history, behind Sir Alex Ferguson, having won the title 6 times, compared to 13 times for the historic Manchester United coach.
Manchester City still has the opportunity to achieve the historic double, when it meets Manchester United in the FA Cup final on May 25 at Wembley Stadium.
