Officially… Real Madrid player moves to Milan

Milan officially announced the purchase of Alex Jimenez from Real Madrid and signed a 5-year contract with the Italian club.

Jimenez was loaned to Milan last season for a year, and he quickly succeeded in participating with the first team for Milan, even though he was nineteen years old.

Milan had the right to buy Jimenez, and according to the club’s statement, it had activated this clause and included the young player for 5 million euros.

Jimenez had never participated with Real Madrid’s first team, but he began to progress through the various age groups until he became a key element in the under-19 team.

With Milan, he played most of last season with the under-19 team, but he played 5 matches with the first team in the left-back position, even though his primary position is right-back, and he appeared at levels that satisfied the Milan management, so it was decided that he would continue at San Siro.

It is noteworthy that so far it is not certain that Real Madrid has set a condition that allows it to buy back Jimenez in the future, as it did previously in Brahim Diaz’s contract with Milan as well.
